Interview on podcast of Saint Louis University’s Museum of Contemporary Religious Art (MOCRA)

I was interviewed on MOCRA Voices, the podcast of Saint Louis University’s Museum of Contemporary Religious Art (MOCRA). Here’s the museum’s description:

MOCRA assistant director David Brinker speaks with journalist and author Menachem Wecker about a wide range of topics, including how he identifies and researches topics for reporting, the role social media is playing in the dialogue between art and religion, and how religious scriptures are interpreted in graphic novel format.

Here is the audio:

And here’s a studio extra, which MOCRA describes as follows: “In this audio extra, Menachem Wecker talks about the ways in which religious symbols that are familiar to some people can be off-putting to others.”

And here’s a photo I took at the time:

It's weird to be the one interviewed, rather than interviewing — at St. Louis Public Radio
